Warranty Policy – MyNewBattery.com

At My New Battery, we are committed to providing high-performance sodium-ion hybrid battery replacements that you can trust. This warranty policy outlines the terms, conditions, and limitations of our product coverage.


Warranty Coverage

All hybrid battery packs include a 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty from the original purchase date. This warranty applies regardless of who installs the battery—whether it’s a DIY installation or by a third party.

An optional 10-Year Platinum Warranty is available for purchase at checkout.


What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturer defects and premature failure due to defective parts or poor workmanship. It is designed to give customers peace of mind when investing in our battery technology.


What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply in the event of:

  • Improper installation or wiring errors

  • Short circuits, jump-starting damage, or other electrical abuse

  • Failure to address vehicle warning lights or error codes promptly

  • Corrosion at the battery ECU causing imbalance

  • Damage caused by intentional abuse, accidents, or neglect

  • Using the battery in a vehicle it is not designed for

  • Unauthorized repairs, disassembly, or modifications

Repair services are not offered for out-of-warranty or misuse-related issues.


Filing a Warranty Claim

To process a warranty claim, customers must provide the following:

  • High-resolution photos clearly showing all battery modules with busbars visible

  • High-resolution photo of the battery ECU connector and all pins

  • Screenshots from an OBD2 app showing relevant error codes

  • Order number and VIN used at the time of purchase

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges related to warranty service.


Replacement Warranty Terms

If a battery is replaced under warranty, the replacement unit inherits the remaining coverage period from the original purchase. The warranty does not restart or extend.

Warranties are non-transferable under any circumstances.


Additional Terms

  • A VIN is required at checkout to validate warranty eligibility.

  • A diagnostic period may be required before approving any claim.

  • My New Battery is not affiliated with Dr. Prius or any third-party diagnostic app.

  • All warranty claims must be submitted through MyNewBattery.com. Do not contact NewPower or any other entity.

  • Abuse of the warranty process, including false claims, fraudulent photos, or online defamation, will result in legal action to the fullest extent of Nevada law.
